I wanted to be Indiana Jones. Instead, I became an illustrator.
I am a fine artist and freelance illustrator specializing in book covers, editorial illustration, and illustrated books. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts with a major in Painting, and my work is rooted in traditional painting and figurative drawing.
I grew up in Marbella, Spain, surrounded by pencils, Indian ink, books, and the Mediterranean. The daughter of a fine artist and comic creator father and a martial artist mother, I was raised between the studio, the sea, the tennis court, and the karate mat—an environment that shaped both my artistic vision and professional discipline.
Although I use digital tools for layout and color, every project begins on the drawing board with pencil and paper. I work primarily with traditional media such as egg tempera, oils, watercolor, and ink.
My aim is always the search for beauty and harmony; to transmit atmosphere, emotion, and mystery. I create in the hope that each image holds something hidden—a fragment of mystery waiting to be discovered.
